GRASSROOTS:

Members can flag sheep as for sale using the Grassroots online pedigree recording system. Members and non-members can access the sheep for sale section of Grassroots. Click here to access the Grassroots system.

For members – full instructions for use are available to download on this page of the website. Use your usual log in and the follow the on-screen instructions using the search facility (the magnifying glass in the top right) to search for members and sheep for sale or available for AI.

For non-membersclick the link to access and use logon “GUEST” and password “Welcome99” to access the system. Then follow the on-screen instructions using the search facility (the magnifying glass in the top right) to search for members and sheep for sale.

SELL MY LIVESTOCK (SML):

Sheep from SSBA members will be added to the Shropshire Sheep Portal on the SML website. All lambs must be birth notified in their year of birth. Female sheep over 4 months of age then have to be registered by the breeder before being sold. Male sheep must be birth notified and can be registered by the breeder or new owner (if a member of the SSBA).

Click here to go to the SML website. Below is a current list of Shropshire Sheep in the portal. Click through to see any individual advert. For any queries or help please contact the SSBA sales officer, Claire Jakeman, salesofficer@shropshire-sheep.co.uk
